Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I last updated - I've been trying to get a lot of maintenance due on this group. Thanks to everyone for sticking with it! <3
What I wanted to bring to everyone's attention this time round is a little podcast called That Anime Show.
Some of you may already be fans of the podcast, but for those of you who aren't familiar with it it's a podcast hosted by J. Michael Tatum (Black Butler, Ouran Host Club, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, etc), Terri Doty (Rin, Big Windup!, Corpse Princess, etc.) and sometimes their engineer Stephen Hoff. In each episode they have a voice actor 'special guest' - including Greg Ayres, Caitlin Glass, Ian Sinclair, Micah Solusod, Jerry Jewell, etc. They talk about the FUNimation company, dubbing as an industry, upcoming anime and general anime to check out, as well as a whole load of fun random stories (which if you enjoy hearing about the voice actors' lives as much as I do then you'll certainly enjoy!)
I've actually been meaning to post about this for quite a while... But now seems like a relevant time to do so still as they recorded their final episode yesterday! Some of you may wonder why I'm bother telling you about it if it's finished, but it honestly doesn't matter! You can quite easily listen to one episode without having heard any others, like most podcasts. Plus there's over 50 episodes that have been recorded, so it'll keep you busy for a while!
This is the main website here, where you can download all of the episodes and also read a bit more about the special guests [LINK]
Each episode is roughly between an hour and two hours. They work really great especially if you're on long journeys or if you're just sitting at home and have a few hours to kill. Just a small disclaimer for our younger members though: the podcast DOES involve quite a lot of bad language (so also be careful if you're listening in public! )

Attention, Fullmetal fans
On 31st March, FUNimation are losing their rights to the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood series and the Conqueror of Shamballa movie and they will revert back to being Aniplex owned.
This means that you will no longer be able to legally stream these anime and that the DVD and Blu-Rays of them will go up significantly in price (Aniplex DVDs are really expensive!) This happens quite a lot in the industry and it's good that they've started posting notices of when this is going to happen to various anime. There's always the chance that FUNimation will reacquire the rights to the same shows later on (probably quite likely with Fullmetal, as it's

Sorry that we missed out on September with this - I've been so busy at work! I was going to do this last week but then figured we may as well skip September altogether.
So! On with the next installment of our give a VA some love concept to try and get more of the empty folders filled.
Basically, if you don't already know, the idea is for one of the empty folders to be chosen at random and for every member (who's familiar with the specified voice actor of course) to submit a piece of artwork/photography/literature regarding that voice actor! If every member, or at least the majority, can submit one piece then we should get these folders look

Hi guys! Continuing on with the new give a VA some love concept to try and get more of the empty folders filled. Sorry that I was a little late updating this - I was away for a few weeks then got stuck on night shifts when I got back. I'll make sure our new featured VA still gets the same amount of time on the pedestal though ;)
